Stones

Granite, quartz and marble countertops fabricated and installed in Atlanta. See full slabs before you buy. Free templating and quote.

Granite

The word gets used loosely. Plenty of Atlanta showrooms call semi-custom cabinetry “custom” — meaning you can pick from preset sizes in three-inch increments and choose a door from a finite list. We mean built to dimension. If your wall measures 118 ¾ inches, that’s what we build to. No filler strip to absorb the difference, no compromise on the corner. If your ceiling is 9’2″, the uppers run to 9’2″.

This matters most in the houses Atlanta actually has. The 1995 kitchen in Johns Creek with a bulkhead over the cabinets. The 1948 Virginia-Highland bungalow where nothing is square. The Decatur ranch with the beam in the wrong place. Custom fabrication is the difference between working around those and solving them.

Quartz

Engineered from crushed natural quartz bound with resin and pigment. It’s non-porous, so it never needs sealing and doesn’t stain from wine, oil or citrus. Color and pattern are consistent from slab to slab, which makes it the practical choice for large kitchens, islands and any project where you need multiple slabs to look like one material.

The trade-off is heat: quartz resin can scorch or discolor under a hot pan. Use trivets and it will outlast the kitchen.

Good for: families, anyone who doesn’t want maintenance, marble-look kitchens without marble behavior.

Marble

The most beautiful and the most demanding. Marble is softer and more porous than granite, and it etches — acids like lemon juice and vinegar dull the polish in seconds, regardless of sealing. Some people love the patina that develops. Others are miserable within a month.

Be honest with yourself. If a ring mark on the island will bother you, choose a quartz that mimics the look. If you want the real thing and accept that it will age, marble in a honed finish is a genuinely lovely surface.

Good for: baking, bathrooms, and anyone who genuinely wants a living surface.

Edges & Finishes

Standard edge profiles — eased, bullnose, bevel — are included. Mitered waterfall edges, ogee and other detailed profiles are available at additional cost. Polished, honed and leathered finishes change the character of the same stone dramatically; ask to see all three before deciding.

How Fabrication Works

Slab selection — you pick the physical slab at the showroom.

Digital templating — after cabinets are set, we laser-template the actual installed base.

Fabrication — cutting, edge profiling, sink and faucet cutouts.

Installation — typically one day; seams placed where they’ll be least visible.

Templating happens after cabinet installation, not before. That’s the step that determines whether your seams and overhangs come out right.
